(More customer reviews)I had been researching the XSi for quite some time, and I wanted to get a zoom lens for the camera. This kit is exactly what I wanted. No extra frills that I didn't need, and got 2 decent lenses for my XSi! I really like the XSi, even though there have been a couple of other new releases since this camera was made available (T1i, Nikon D5000, etc). I am a big fan of Canon and I really do enjoy this camera. I get great results, and it is fun to learn from your "not so great results!" (These only happen because I am not as familiar with the camera, as I am mostly an amateur that wants to learn more and take great pictures.) If you are looking to purchase your first DSLR, this kit is a great first camera kit!
