(More customer reviews)five stars is given more for the camera than the kit. The camera itself is totally bad ass, tack sharp pictures, expands to all shooting circumstances I've encountered, (i.e. portrait, wedding, macro, astro-to come... etc...) The kit on the other hand has a few short comings. Tripod is small and weak for the camera, I use it for a flash stand. Same thing with the desktop tripod, I don't put my camera on something that unstable. The flash -HAHAHAHA- nuff said, I think you can get it here on Amazon for around $5.00 and in my opinion that's too much. 2x and .45x are front lens mount not camera body mount -not really fond of that but for the most part they work. Like I said the five stars I gave is more for the camera, I highly recommend this camera. You can take a bunch of good shots with it.
